An Audiologist analyse people who have been diagnosed with hearing problems. They search inside the ear to see what has caused the hearing problem and they will see how to fix and treat he ear. An Audiologist use equipment like audiometers which allows the Audiologist see how much the patient can hear. They may also use sometimes in severe cases hearing aids and the cholera implants.

Some acoustic engineers help patients try to lower the level of sound and noises that go through walls. They can also help on reducing noise from busy freeways, airports and other public access.
